Alan Pardew does not envisage making any more additions to his
squad before the end of the campaign.
With the transfer deadline looming he says:
"I will be honest; I have looked long and hard and can't really see too much becoming available that is going to improve us - that is the truth.
"We have got a decent-sized squad of very good players and if something came along which I felt was going to improve us I would pick up on it - but I don't see anything coming to light.
"The Premiership clubs have smaller squads and no one wants to release anybody.
"In the first division you are talking about paying premium money because it is deadline time.
"I don't really see a lot up there, and I have spoken to a few managers who are all of the same opinion - that we are going to have to run with what we have got."
