Adam Nowland says it is time for the players to stand up and be
counted as the final phase of the season kicks in.
"We have to get our heads up for the next one and tonight is a big one; there are two massive games coming up and every game is big," he says.
"This is where you start seeing the real players and the real bottle - we have the personnel to win these games so we are still happy and confident - Sunderland was a disappointing result."
He says thoughts of the play-offs are not in the players' minds and adds:
"We are not looking at it that way, we are taking it game by game; we can understand what the fans see but at the same time as long as it is mathematically possible we keep on going for the wins and see where it takes us."
