Alan Pardew says his squad has the talent and the spirit to get
promoted next season.
"As far as I am concerned our squad is more than adequate enough to win this league, and as long as we get the spirit right and work hard enough the quality is there for us to win it," he enthuses.
Alan says he will reduce the amount of loan deals this campaign compared to last season, and explains:
"We will not have so many loan players; I don't think it was ideal and I don't think any of the players we took on loan actually ripped it up for us.
"It does happen occasionally as it did with Huckerby at Norwich and at my old club with Upson, but those situations are few and far between and usually they are just coming in to fill a hole.
"But there will be times when we get an injury or whatever and loan players will be needed."
