Coca Cola Championship Fixtures 2004/2005

The fixtures for the 2004/2005 Coca Cola Championship campaign give West Ham a trip to relegated Leicester City on the first day - and end with a visit to Watford 46 games later.

The first game at Upton Park is midweek, on August 10th, with the last home game being against Sunderland.

The Christmas programme involves a home game with Nottingham Forest followed by a trip to Rotherham and then a visit to Ipswich on New Year's Day, with a home game against Sheffield United two days later.

Other notable fixtures include Leeds at home on December 11th and away on February 26th, Millwall away on 20th November and at home on April 16th, and a revival of a London derby with QPR on October 16th away and November 6th at home.

As it stands there are 10 midweek fixtures, but all games are subject to change due to the requirements of television.

Midweek games at Upton Park will be played on Tuesdays.

Division One is to be known as the Coca-Cola Championship as the Football League, who own copyright of the fixtures, looks to raise the profile of the three tiers below the Premiership.
