"We have been all right away from home but we have got to start winning games at Upton Park if we want to get promoted," he admits.
"We have got to put that right very, very soon or we are going to be in trouble.
"We have to address it, being able to kill teams off - and we have to do it sooner rather than later.
"The fans have been fine; I can understand their frustrations, they want us to be winning games at home, and rightly so - we should be no matter who comes.
"Automatic promotion is looking a bit distant so we have to go on a run.
"Everyone was dejected on Saturday but we have to move on.
"The Preston game has been the story of our season so far, not getting the breaks; we looked comfortable at 1-0 up as we did against Ipswich and then it was two sucker punches in the space of five minutes and it killed us.
"The lads were really disappointed but all I think it is, is a little bit of luck.
"It was hard to get back going on Saturday and Lady Luck wasn't with us."
