West Ham United confirms the club has agreed an undisclosed fee
with Manchester City for goalkeeper David James.
David has been given permission to discuss personal terms with Kevin Keegan and, providing they are concluded the deal will be finalised without delay.
The club would like to thank David for the loyalty and service he showed during his time at the Boleyn ground.
David joined the Hammers in July 2001 from Aston Villa for £3.2m and made 102 league and cup appearances.
