Marlon: Take Heart

Marlon Harewood says the players can take heart from Saturday's draw at Norwich even if they are disappointed at not getting the three points.

"We were all over them, really; we did very well, and it was disappointing they scored - but that's how it goes," he says.

"We have to take it from there and take it on; we are getting confidence from every game and the way we have been playing has been fantastic.

"The gaffer has got a hard time picking the team and whoever is out there wants to keep his shirt."

Marlon kept up his excellent strike rate with West Ham's goal at the weekend, and he adds:

"It was a good goal; Bobby gave me a good flick and I went on to shoot.

"It was one of the best goals I have got this season but it is a shame we didn't go on to win the game."

As for Matthew Etherington's sending off, he adds:

"I don't even know what went on; I think he 'had one' - it was a bad game for the ref."

Marlon can't wait for Tuesday's game against Fulham now, and he adds:

"Everyone is looking forward to it."
