Alan: Let's Keep Going

Alan Pardew hopes that he is giving West Ham fans reason to be proud again - and says it is crucial to extend the unbeaten sequence against Fulham on Tuesday night.

"It is important for me personally that we keep this run going no matter who we are up against, whether it is Fulham, Cardiff, Manchester United, or whoever comes our way," he says.

"We have to look to stay unbeaten and try and win as many games as possible."

The notion amongst supporters, it would seem, is that there is real pride in the way the players are performing, and Alan says:

"I hope so; it is something that you could question earlier on in the season because I didn't think we were giving value for money.

"I could see that and the fans could see that - and I think we are giving value now.

"The fans that travelled to Norwich will say that although we haven't won the game we have given as good a performance as we could have, and they would be proud of that.

"It is just a little disappointing that we didn't get the result perhaps we deserved."
