Just 3,000 tickets have been allocated to the club for the FA cup tie away to Fulham on Saturday, and Alan says:
"It is disappointing, and certainly when we were at Reading we released more tickets to the opposition because the revenue was important to them.
"I guess it isn't so important to Fulham but we share the gate - and it was important to us.
"We would have liked to have seen more of our fans there but obviously they were wary of letting our boys in because of the noise they would have made.
"Let's be honest, it would probably have felt like a home game but 3,000 can still do the job and I am sure they will.
"Of course there is the element of security, and that has got to be paramount, but subject to that I think you should be looking to get as many people in to a football match as possible."
