Fans Forum A Success

THE inaugural Fans' Forum evenings held at the Club recently both went extremely well, and West Ham United is pleased to announce two more Forum dates for the New Year, where supporters will be invited to put their questions to members of the West Ham United Board.

The first Forum, held in the White Horse Suite on Tuesday 16th November, was attended by 20 supporters, while another 17 fans took part on Tuesday 14th December, posing their questions to Managing Director Paul Aldridge and Financial Director Nick Igoe.

The two meetings raised a number of issues, ranging from the Club's promotion prospects to the price of a half-time pint, but all those supporters who attended found the meetings worthwhile.

Lifelong supporter Steve Hume said after this week's Forum: "I felt the evening was a resounding success in building relations between the Club and supporters. As a supporter it was refreshing to sit down and talk candidly for over four hours on matters concerning the Club and the approach really is a breath of fresh air."

The next two dates for the Fans' Forum are Monday 24th January 2005 and Monday 21st February 2005, starting at 7.00pm. Although numbers will be limited all Season Ticket Holders and Club Members are invited to apply by writing to Fans' Forum c/o West Ham United, The Boleyn Ground, Green Street, Upton Park London E13 9AZ or email [email protected] including your full name, address, postcode and Patron Number.

Managing Director, Paul Aldridge, said: "I thought both evening sessions were a success and hopefully we can build on those and welcome increased numbers at the next two meetings in the New Year. We will ensure supporters selected from the applications will represent all areas of the Boleyn Ground."
