West Ham United and Chelsea have been charged for the behaviour of their supporters during the Carling Cup Third Round match at Stamford Bridge on 27th october 2004.

The two clubs have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E22 (a) for their alleged failure to ensure that spectators, and/or persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from threatening and/or violent and/or provocative behaviour.

Both clubs have until 4th January to respond.
