New Boys Start For Reserves

NEW signings Gavin Williams and goalkeeper Robert Burch will make their first appearances for West Ham United this evening when the Reserve team take on Tottenham Hotspur at Upton Park.

Kevin Keen has named his strongest Reserve side of the season to take on their London rivals, including seven players with first-team experience in his team.
Malky Mackay and Rufus Brevett make their competitive returns after calf and hamstring injuries respectively, while Burch replaces the injured Jimmy Walker in goal.

Williams is likely to start on the right hand side of midfield.

There are five survivors from the side that beat Norwich City 2-0 at the Glyn Hopkin Stadium two weeks ago - youngsters Elliott Ward, Mark Noble, Chris Cohen, Moses Ashikodi and Kyel Reid.

Nigel Reo-Coker and Hayden Mullins, who were both on the first-team bench for the 1-1 draw against Leeds, will also start this evening after returning from suspension.
