Tony Carr says defensive lapses in a "crazy" five minutes
just after half time cost his Academy side a point at Manchester
United on Saturday.
The Hammers lost 3-2 with goals from Ollie Allen and Sam Wright, and Tony says:
"We made some uncharacteristic mistakes at the back and were punished for them when we went two down just after half time - having edged the first half.
"But we showed character to pull it back to 3-2 and I think if the game had gone on another 10 minutes we would have got a point.
"For long periods we ran them close, and we missed some good chances as well, so it wasn't to be.
"But they are a quality team and have the pick of the players home and abroad."
