Match Report - Norwich City Reserves V West Ham Reserves - 18 Aug 2004

West Ham reserves got off to a winning start to their campaign with a 2-1 defeat of Norwich City on Wednesday evening.

Kevin Keen, who took the team on the night, says:

"It was an excellent performance based on good passing and team work - and the goals were good ones."

Richard Garcia made his come back appearance and Kevin adds:

"It was great for the young lads to play with him."

Norwich took the lead after 10 minutes - "poor defensive work from a free kick" admits Kevin - but got back to level terms when Noble set up Chadwick to fire in off the post.

Wright set up Ashikodi for the winner in the second half.

"We dominated periods though James Walker did make a couple of good saves," concludes Kevin.

Team: Walker, Mcclenahan, Laws, Blewitt, Bunce, Chadwick [Wright, 45'], Nowland, Cohen [Yao, 65'], Noble, Garcia [Henry, 65'], Ashikodi.
