West Ham United would like to thank those season ticket holders occupying seats within the Bobby Moore stand lower tier for their co-operation both before and during Tuesday's home fixture against Reading.
Before the match, season ticket holders used for the first time their new access cards to gain entry into the stadium, we have had a good reaction from supporters and many have commented how quick and easy the new system is to use, the new method is proven to allow for a quicker entry through the turnstiles and we would hope season ticket holders will benefit as a result.
Also for the most part of the match the majority of season ticket holders remained seated throughout the match, the behaviour of supporters is monitored each match by representatives of the local council and football licensing authority and on this occasion they praised the actions of these season ticket holders.
Unfortunately a small number of individuals chose to stand for the duration of the match and despite repeated warnings as a result these season ticket holders face club action and may ultimately find their season tickets cancelled without recompense.
Again we would ask all supporters to help the Club and remain seated when watching the team both home & away.
