"Rufus is doing really well after being a long time out - he is running well and really concentrating on his leg strength now," says Andy.
"He is doing a lot in the gym and apart from that he is kicking footballs now, which is nice to see, and doing a lot of jumping work on the foot.
"At the moment he has had no reaction from that and so far, so good; we hope he will be back as quickly as possible.
"He is a little bit down on his strength but he is working hard to get that back in the next two or three weeks.
"We have only got three reserve games left but it would be nice to see him back before the end of those.
"But, at the end of the day, we haven't targeted a game for him yet because he still has to build up that strength a little bit more."
Andy says the morale at the club is excellent despite the Easter programme and adds:
"There is still good atmosphere around the club and the boys are willing to go for it.
"Two games in three days was a tiring period for the players but we try and prepare them before so they are already ready for that period, and Tony Strudwick has a big influence in that.
"I am pleased to say that most of them came through it very well."
Michael Carrick missed out on Coventry but Andy says:
"Michael is coming along though his hamstring has been sore; we are taking it day by day.
"He was in on Easter Sunday although the papers said differently; he came in at the weekend and was with me on Monday morning as well - I can vouch for that because I saw him."
Steve Lomas was back against the Sky Blues after missing the Palace defeat and Andy adds:
"He was very tight after the game against Derby but it was nice to see him back on the Upton Park pitch.
"He stiffened up afterwards and of course he had played 90 minutes in the reserves prior to the Derby game.
"Hutch had a groin strain and has done well with his rehab - he is okay."
