He reveals:
"I haven't thought about my future, to be honest; we will see how the end of the season goes and talk in the summer.
"I am on a good little roll at the minute, the lads are playing well and everything is going all right so we will just see what happens - there are no plans at all yet.
"Things are good; we have been playing well for a few months now although we obviously had a blip with away defeats - but every team has them, we had to bounce back, and we have."
Looking to Reading, he adds:
"It will be a good one and it is on the telly as well; we will be up for that and looking for the win again.
"It is the same as Millwall, a massive game for local pride but it is three points and that is what we have to aim for this weekend."
Michael says the recent defeat at Millwall, frustrating though it was, has to be put in perspective.
"I was disappointed but I didn't let myself get too disappointed because we still only lost three points," he says.
"I know it is a massive thing for the club and the fans and everyone concerned, but for us it was three points gone and we had to bounce back - which we did.
"The gaffer made a point of saying better to lose one and win one than draw a couple so it is not as bad as it all seems."
As for the overall promotion picture, he adds:
"It is going to be tough; every game is going to be a massive game now and if you don't win the teams above you either leapfrog you or make a little space which is hard to catch up.
"So we have got to be the ones putting pressure on other teams and hopefully other teams will slip up."
