The young striker scored in the reserves midweek, and Alan says:
"He is a lad that has got technical ability, there is no doubt about that.
"He has been released by Liverpool and we have to take that into consideration.
"He will train until Friday and we will speak to him after that."
Alan is pleased that the reserve team continued their unbeaten run and adds:
"That is just a reflection of the strength of the squad now because we are not only winning reserve games, we are winning them quite comfortably, to be honest.
"It was a good display the other day from a strong team and, with the first team results - which have been pretty decent over that period of the reserves winning - it just shows that we are growing.
"We are growing as a club - and that is important because we have come a long way down the spiral."
