He says he was inspired by the ambiance at Ninian Park on Tuesday, and expects more of the same on Saturday.
"I think that makes it better, to be honest, because the atmosphere will be there with the Millwall fans as it was at Cardiff," he explains. "Obviously you just want to keep them quiet, I suppose - so it will be the same at the weekend.
"I am happy I have got the three goals on Tuesday now and hopefully I can go on another run.
"As a striker all you want to do is score goals and when you go a couple of games without scoring you are concerned - but I kept my head down on Tuesday and enjoyed it."
Jermain says he is happy to work under Trevor for two more games, before his suspension kicks in for Trevor's last two matches in charge.
"Everyone knows who the next manager is now and he comes in on the 18th, I think, but to be honest I don't really think about it - I just get my head down and carry on playing."
But he pays tribute to Glenn Roeder, adding: "Obviously Glenn was a nice man and we had a good relationship with him because even before he was the manager he used to work with the youngsters."
Jermain can't wait, though, for the first of two home London derbies on the trot.
"But now I am just looking forward to the game, which is a massive one - all the lads are looking forward to it and we need to get three points.
"Millwall are a good side and it will be similar to Tuesday, I think.
"I have played against them before when I played for Bournemouth when I was on loan there.
"All games are different but if we play like we did on Tuesday we will be all right."
