Match Report - Fulham Reserves V West Ham Reserves - 29 Oct 2003

It was the night of the narrow defeat on Wednesday as the reserves also went down 1-0.

The loss, to Fulham, was, says Tony Carr who took the team - while Roger Cross was on the bench at his old club Tottenham - unlucky.

"We played very well, especially in the first half," he says, "but we missed some very good chances; Collington and Parrington especially," he says.

"They scored midway through the second half and we just couldn't pull one back, but we didn't deserve to lose and we could have won after dominating large parts of the game."

Chris Cohen and Mark Noble have been selected for the England U17 squad to face Switzerland at Bristol City two weeks' time.

TEAM: Forde, McLenehan, Tattam [Noble M, 70'], Laws, Lumsden, Blewitt, Wright [Parrington 83'], Noble D, Pearson, Collington [Stokes, 83'], Cohen.

Subs unused: Behcet, Henry, Shaw.
