With his framed photo now proudly sitting alongside those of other players in the corridor leading to the dressing rooms, confirming his status as as a squad regular now he is here for the rest of the campaign, he says:
"I am going to enjoy every minute of this season now I am a West Ham player so the results affect me as much as everyone else.
"The new manager is in and we will have to wait and see what happens."
Speaking ahead of the Burnley game, he adds:
"Teams are coming in to frustrate us but you are going to get that.
"Burnley got beat 6-1 in the week so they are not going to want that again - they will try harder but we have to match that.
"On the day we should win and we have got a couple of players coming back.
"Richie and Neil did well on Wednesday though, but J and David are great players and it is the gaffer's problem, not mine."
"It is a case of digging in and getting the three points and with the squad we have got we are capable of doing that.
"We have to get on with it and get it over and done with."
