An Extraordinary General Meeting of West Ham United plc was held at
the Boleyn Ground earlier today in order to consider a resolution
to amend the company's Articles of Association. The directors
are pleased to report that the resolution was approved with
16,367,912 shares in favour of the resolution and 224,019 shares
against.
Chairman, Terence Brown, said "I would like to thank our shareholders for attending today's EGM and for their overwhelming support for the resolution to adopt the new Articles of Association. To have received 98.65% support for the resolution, and just 1.35% against, at the end of a difficult season is very much appreciated."
