He says: "Well, I made it - but unfortunately West Ham didn't!
"There was a West Ham supporter at St Andrew's who saw my attire and said to me: 'What did you do? Cycle here?'
"I said 'actually, yes, for the Bobby Moore fund' - and he immediately got £5 out of his pocket.
"I ended up going 135 miles from London to Birmingham, and I would like to thank everyone that sponsored me."
Chris, who suffered four punctures along the way, is thinking of making the last day trip an annual event, hoping that, when the fixtures are released on Thursday, June 19, it doesn't pair West Ham with a trip to Rotherham or Wigan.
