However, as all fixtures are subject to alterations due to TV requirements - with the likelihood that West Ham will be heavily featured - that is likely to change in due course.
The first home game of the campaign is against Neil Warnock's highly fancied losing play-off finalists Sheffield United - who also reached the semi-finals of both the Worthington and FA Cups - and the last is against Ray Lewington's Watford.
Ray, of course, nearly came to Upton Park when Glenn Roeder took over, but honoured a verbal agreement to go to Vicarage Lane.
The first London derby of the season is at home to Millwall in September, with the away return against them in March.

The Football League are not yet able to announce the new sponsor of the League Cup and it has, therefore, been necessary to delay the Draw for Round One.
An announcement will be made shortly.
