Glenn Roeder says he has gone for quality rather than quantity in
the build up to the new season - and is looking forward immensely
to the final match of the pre-season preparations on
Friday.
"We have purposefully made the pre-season games a lot tougher than they normally are," he says.
"PSV Eindhoven, the champions of Holland, would be expected to reach the second stages of the Champions' League, and probably have three, four, or five players of the class that could play anywhere in the world.
"So I am sure that game will be an excellent one for our supporters to come and see - and it will be an extremely difficult but worthwhile test for our players."
