Half-time penalty competitions throughout the campaign will give two lucky fans a chance to reach the final and an opportunity to represent West Ham against other top sides. The first 'clicktokick' competition will be held on August 13th during the Carling Cup first round game against Rushden & Diamonds.
clicktokick, the brainchild of lifelong football fans Jerry Scriven and Charlie Wardle, is an organisation set up to give football fans the chance to be a striker for the day and step on the hallowed turf of their favourite team.
"We wanted to give every fan the once in a lifetime chance to feel like a hero for the day in front of their own crowd!" comments Charlie.
Every fan that joins clicktokick will have a chance of stepping onto the pitch at Upton Park during the 2003-04 season. There will be five half-time penalty shoot-out events, with an adult shootout in one goal and a junior (Under 16s) in the other goal.
A total of 50 fans will take part in the shoot-outs during the season, 25 Adults and 25 Juniors. The Adult grand final winner will receive £10,000 and there are many other unique and substantial prizes along the way.
