Glenn Roeder admits he is sorry to see Trevor Sinclair leave Upton
Park following the completion of his move to Manchester
City on Monday afternoon.
"It is always sad to see someone like Trevor Sinclair leave the club," he says. He has been such a fantastic servant to the club and was a terrific signing.
"He has given excellent service and it was great to have him at West Ham. I believe he won his first England cap here and he also played a part in England's World Cup campaign in Japan last year.
"I am sure Kevin Keegan, who I personally know very well - we played together at Newcastle - will enjoy having Trevor on board.
"I can only say good things about Trevor and can only thank him personally for all the effort he put in in the two years I was manager of West Ham.
"I obviously wish him well."
