Glenn On Lee

Glenn Roeder will discuss with Rob Lee whether he will be staying at the club after seeing him in action against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

West Ham fan Rob has long been the subject of Glenn's admiration, and before him Harry Redknapp was keen on bringing him to Upton Park.

He is now a free agent after leaving Derby County in the summer, and Glenn says:

"Rob has had a couple of weeks with us and when we have had the football practice he has shown his quality; he has got an awful lot of that and still has plenty to offer.

"And when we have worked physically, i.e. on the running and the circuit training he has stayed up with everybody; he has kept up with everyone.

"At 36, 37 he is not dropping behind and is running in the main group and is looking good.

"After two weeks it is just a question of me having a chat with him and on Wednesday after the Bournemouth game I will be sitting him down and seeing just how the land lies.

"He will certainly be involved in the Bournemouth game; he wants to be and I want him to."
