Jermain Defoe is likely to be restored to the starting line up by way of a replacement after coming off the bench to score in the last game at Blackburn.
Don Hutchison is left out of the squad on compassionate grounds following the recent death of his father.
Glenn Roeder says there is no question of resting players for the cup tie, explaining:
"We will be taking it very seriously; the FA Cup is probably the most famous domestic cup competition in the world.
"The Italians, the French, The Spanish and the Germans - if you speak to people from those countries they will tell you that the league is everything and they don't take the cups as seriously.
"But in this country it is taken seriously by everybody, and it is a game we really want to win."
For Forest, 21 goal striker David Johnson, along with Chris Doig and Barry Roche have had flu this week and Des Walker is out through injury.
