"We desperately need three points after a little blip like Ipswich and we have got to be confident we can win three points."
Looking at the Ipswich game, he says:
"It was disappointing, especially after going 1-0 up at home.
"I didn't think we were at our best but we restricted them to very few chances - you win some, you lose some.
"David had a few crosses and a few chances, but our goal came from a good attack - it is something we have worked on, especially with the pace of the lads up front.
"At the time we were delighted, and the gaffer likes us to counter attack.
"But it was a scrappy goal to win it for them in the end - we couldn't get one of them, and that is the way it goes sometimes.
"It took a couple of deflections and bobbled into the bottom corner - we are due one of those.
"But we have got to keep going."
As for the penalty appeal, he adds:
"I didn't get a good view of it but apparently he did touch him so you can't really argue with it."
