Match Report - Crystal Palace U17 V West Ham U17 - 13 Dec 2003

West Ham under-19's drew 3-3 with Ipswich on Saturday while the under-17's won 4-2 at Crystal Palace.
Says Tony Carr of the draw with Ipswich:

" We didn't play particularily well so I am pleased with the way we dug out a result, and it was pleasing for Graeme Carrick to score when he came on - he is getting a run of games under his belt."

The other scorers were fellow substitute Trent McLenehan and also Phil Lumsden.

As for the under-17's, Sos Yao scored all four goals and coach Kevin Keen says:

"It was an open and entertaining game and it takes us to the top of the league for the new year which is good news."
