It was mixed fortunes for West Ham's youth teams on Saturday
with the under-17s winning while the under-19s were defeated.
The 19s lost at Southampton, who are top their group, and have won six on the trot, to a last minute goal.
Graeme Carrick scored with a header in the 2-1 defeat, about which Tony Carr said: "It was disappointing to lose after we were punished in the midfield when we gave away possession.
"But it was a gutsy performance, we dug in to defend well, but we did'nt create a lot.
"But that said, we were without four players - Mark Noble, Chris Cohen, Greg Pearson, and Darren Blewitt - for various reasons."
Sos Yao scored both goals in West Ham's home win over Wimbledon, and Kevin Keen said: "We created some good opportunities and their keeper made some good saves, but he could'nt keep out the ones we scored early in each half."
