David Connolly says he wishes Glenn Roeder well in whatever role he
next takes up in football.
"It is disappointing to see any manager leave and I wish him well in whatever he does next, as do the majority of the players," says David, whom Glenn brought to the club for £285,000 in the summer.
It is a move that is already looking to be one of the transfer bargains of the season, and David adds: "He did a great job when he was here and I am sure if he had been manager against Bradford we would possibly have got the same result.
"Trevor said he left a message before the game wishing us well and that is the type of man he is."
As for Glenn's successor, David adds: "I have no idea who the next manager will be but as long as he is honest and fair that is all you can ask for."
