Glenn was taken ill after the 1-0 win over Middlesbrough on Monday and Tony says: "Who cares about the match or anything when something like this happens?
"I was alarmed when I heard at the ground it had happened. We don't know quite what it is at the moment but all we can say is good luck to Glenn and that our love is with his family - and I know that goes for the players and supporters as well.
"It is a very difficult thing to talk about with Glenn being in hospital.
"He is not a ranter and a raver and people have suggested in the past that he should be. All the worries of football don't help but Glenn always maintains his dignity.
"The players will gather their thoughts and then look to get a result for the boss at Manchester City - but clearly the main thing is Glenn's health."
