The Hammers boss watched the young defender make his home debut for Millwall against Derby on Saturday and says: "He had an excellent game. I was really impressed with Glen's display and Mark McGhee must be delighted with the two performances he has put in.
"Although they lost the first game he played in at Norwich, and he won't be happy with that, I am sure he was pleased with what Glen gave to the team.
"Everyone that we spoke to was impressed with that first game and equally he did well in the 3-0 win against Derby.
"It is a great experience for Glen and hopefully he will play a few more games at a very high level, because the first division is obviously a test for him - and he came through with flying colours."
Glenn laughs off fears that he would be given a tough time by the Lions' fans because of his West Ham connection and says: "They were very good, everyone in the stadium was positive to Glen and I am sure Millwall supporters will have been impressed."
Now Glenn is looking for the young defender to continue his education for the rest of his month's loan spell and he adds: "It is early days but he will get blooded, I am sure, when he comes back to us and hopefully have a successful and long career at our club in the first team.
"What I saw on Saturday delighted me."
