A West Ham reserve side were beaten 2-1 in a friendly by QPR on
Wednesday afternoon - and Don Hutchison had to come off after
half an hour.
Says coach Roger Cross: "Don had to come off after half an hour because he felt a twinge on his knee. We don't know what is wrong yet but it was just a precaution.
"But John Moncur made it through 65 minutes after being out with a cracked rib so that is good - and it was a good run out for our young players."
Ayo Akinsete scored West Ham's consolation goal.
The starting line up included Messrs. Forde, Byrne, Ferdinand, Ward, Labant, McMahon, Moncur, Britton, Hutchison, Allen and Eastwood, while Mitchell Cole - who replaced Hutchison - Laws, Pearson, Fletcher, Lumsden and Akinsete all made substitute appearances.
