He cites his committed performances in the reserves, and the encouragement to the players around him, as being an unseen positive for the club even though it was clear when he came that he had joined as number two keeper to David James.
"Raimond has brought something to the reserves by his constant talking to the players in the reserve games; he really organises them well," says Glenn.
"It is great to see a 39 professional prepare as a professional should.
"I always felt he had done well in his career and what I was told about him has been proved right.
"He will bear me out I hope in saying, though, that we hope David James stays fit - but he is an excellent understudy.
"Elliot Ward and Anton Ferdinand have taken benefit from his experience when they have played in front of him in the reserves, and those two will form the central defence in the Youth Cup challenge this year."
Glenn also says that Richard Garcia will play his part this season - despite not getting a game yet - and adds:
"Richard is looking like a player that has had first team involvement now."
