He admits that being at the bottom of the Premiership, while not quite leading him to reach for the prescription drugs, has certainly got him counting the sheep in order to get some much needed slumber.
"For me it is very difficult to sleep every night when we are at the bottom," he admits, " and I hope we will be off there soon."
"In fact, if we can keep this mentality I think we can be a top seven side again once we get up to mid-table.
"I feel we can get a minimum of five points more this season, and if we stop hitting the post and start converting chances I think that will happen.
"The win over Chelsea last week was just the beginning and before December I think we can be up there."
Sebastien is buoyed by the two wins on the bounce - albeit with the aid of penalties at Chesterfield - and nothing would make him happier than to make it three in a week - with echoes of the week a year ago, also involving a win over Chelsea, that got West Ham's season up and running.
"I was very surprised last Saturday," he admits, "and I don't know if it was them not playing so well - but I think it was us playing well even though Zola not starting helped.
"It was a very good game for everybody, even the Chelsea fans in terms of entertainment, and if we had scored on every occasion we had we might have been 4-1 up at half time.
"But the most important thing is that we got the three points. It was very important for the confidence of Glenn and the players.
"As for Tuesday, if you are a professional you play every game to win, and that is what we set out to do."
