'seniors' Play

Don Hutchison and Fredi Kanoute are both involved in the FA Premier Reserve League clash against Coventry City on Tuesday night - as a team in claret and blue searches for a first win at Upton Park this season.

It is the first time this campaign the second string have played at the Boleyn ground, although the under-17s did play there earlier in the season and were 1-0 up with a minute to go before conceding a late goal to Reading.

Don is hoping for a second consecutive 90 minutes for the reserves, while Fredi, if he comes through the game, will be available for our Premiership clash against Southampton on Monday.

Reports that Tomas Repka would play are off the mark, but central defensive colleague Gary Breen - who has not been involved for the first team in the Premiership since early October against Birmingham - gets a run, as does Scott Minto.

Titi Camara and Richard Garcia, who were both on the first team bench at Aston Villa on Saturday, are also in the squad, while Laurent Courtois, who missed last week's reserve game for family reasons, and Raimond van der Gouw both return.

Team: Van der Gouw, Byrne, Minto, Garcia, Breen, Ferdinand, Hutchison, Rahim, Sofiane, Kanoute, Courtois. Subs: Britton, Forde, Camara, McMahon, Laws, Lumsden.
