West Ham are in the process of arranging their pre-season programme
- with a mini-tour of Essex on the cards!
Games with Colchester United - where former striker Steve Whitton is boss - on July 26th and Southend United are on the cards, the latter being set for July 23rd.
Steve Clark, who joined the Shrimpers recently for around £50,000, is particularly looking forward to that one.
A game with Sparta Prague is in the pipeline, as part of the deal that brought Vladimir Labant to the club, though a date has not yet been set, and a match against Norwich City is also a possibility.
"We are still finalising the details of the matches," says Roger Cross.
