Steve's Mixed Feelings

Steve Lomas has mixed feelings about his third comeback game of the season, against Manchester United on Saturday.

"I'm glad to be back playing but the goals scored against us were not good," he says of the amazing 5-3 defeat.

"Manchester United are a world class team and it is hard enough to keep the goal tally down at the best of times, but you have to say they were poor goals.

"We have had to work so hard to get our goals, but theirs - I think the first one was a mistake, the second was a free header from three yards, which has been something of an Achilles heel this year, and I can't remember too much about the other three goals, but they weren't good.

"We got ourselves back in it with five minutes to go but I can't really comment on the penalty - Scholesy said it was a rash tackle.

"We were disappointed with the goals conceded. We went ahead, they pulled back, we went up again and they pulled it back again, then at 4-3 we gave ourselves a chance and we gave it our all - and then the penalty.

"But I was glad to get a game under my belt and my aim is to play the last nine games of the season."
