A new watchdog body, The Independent Football Commission, launched
at Upton Park on Wednesday.
Set up to report and review customer service in professional football, the body will have powers above the Football Association and Football League.
The luncheon, in the Carlsberg suite at the ground, was attended by Adam Crozier, chief executive of the FA, who said: "The IFC has the full support of the FA, the Premier League, and the Football League, and has a very important role to play in our game."
Others involved in the IFC are minister of sport Richard Caborn, Ian Todd, the chairman of the National Federation of Supporters' clubs, and the chairman of the IFC, professor Derek Fraser.
