One newspaper claimed that Jermain Defoe is getting a six fold increase in pay, and made claims about what other stars at the club were earning, but Glenn says:
"I have been told about it, and we'd rather stories like this didn't appear.
"Basically, a lot of things that are written are agent-driven, and I'm very confident this story is agent-driven.
"A lot of it is fantasy with only an element of truth so I have got no comment to make on that."
He also denies reports that Rennes midfielder Jocelyn Gourvennec is set to sign at Upton Park after a trial, and adds:
"He is going to back to his club."
He insists that he is not making a move for Paul Gascoigne either.
"It is simply because he is a player at Everton, I am managing at West Ham, and people need to fill newspapers.
"There is obviously a genuine friendship there but it is all speculation like 99% of the stuff is.
"There is nothing else to be said about it."
Burnley have confirmed they are looking to sign him.
He was unaware of a claim that Paul Kitson is moving to Manchester City, and says:
"What was the speculation there?
"I guess they have signed Jonathan Macken for £5m and I haven't heard anything."
One player almost certainly on the move, though, is Svetoslav Todorov, and Glenn says:
"We are looking at the work permit; if he moves on to Portsmouth he needs to have a new one, and we are working on that at the moment."
As for incomings on loan, he concludes:
"There are players out there we could take but I don't think it would particularly help our cause.
"I have targeted a couple of players I would like, and it is a question of whether we can manage to get them to the club.
"There are always reasons that you can't get the players that you want.
"But we are working hard at trying to find our way around some obstacles."
