Mamar Mamouni is waiting to hear if he is to earn a contract at
Upton Park.
Mamar, involved in midfield in the friendly with Colchester on Friday, played in midfield before being replaced by John Moncur.
"It is a squad with a lot of talent but I don't know yet what is happening with a transfer," he says.
"I am a free player and would be happy to come here and bring what I can to the team - and they could bring a lot to my game as well."
Mamar, previously with Le Havre, adds:
"I can play as cover in midfield but more often I play as a libero."
