Ex-hammers In Champions' League!

Who says you need to be at a so-called 'top' club to play in the coveted Champions' League?

Two former Hammers favourites are poised to enter European club football's premier competition tomorrow night, when Ian Bishop plays in a first qualfying round, first leg, tie for Barry Town against Skonta Riga in the Latvian capital.

Bish is currently on loan to the ambitious Welsh club whose player/coach happens to be Kenny Brown, famous for netting that goal that did so much to deny Manchester United the championship at Upton Park in 1992.

Bish, who is a free agent after leaving American club Miami Fusion this summer, had been training with Wigan Athletic until Kenny signed his former Boleyn team-mate on loan.
