"We are generally looking at one or two more players to give us some strength in depth, but I don't see too much happening at the moment.
"We mustn't forget that overall we had a terrific season last year; we didn't say too much about it because we are not those sort of people or a group of players that shout from the rooftops.
"But considering the season we had the year before last, we did so well last year and the boys mustn't forget that.
"Although I haven't a mountain of cash to spend on players, I am in a position, because players have left us, that some money has been freed up to bring in two or three to give us some strength in depth.
"If I can find one or two signings that can go into the team through the Bosman market, then I will make them.
"But that squad of players, that are still here, did very well - and I don't see why we can't improve again this year.
"Although I haven't got lots of money to spend, the important thing is I haven't got any pressure to sell anybody I don't want to.
"The only players that would raise money are the ones I wouldn't want to sell, so I'd rather stay with those and try and improve the squad a little bit through the Bosman market.
"I have got lots of confidence in the players."
