With inspiration from exhibits in the new West Ham United football museum at the stadium, combined with hours of pouring through history books and football magazines, we have taken these design ideas and given them a contemporary twist.
"We believe, as our new West Ham advert highlights, that we have come up with a 'sharp, smart, slick' design that will prove very popular."
The shirt is made from a lightweight polyester fabric which has the Fila Performa stamp of approval. This includes 'Protection' through junction reinforcement, anti-bacterial treatments and water repellent mechanics, 'Comfort' by freedom of movement and ergonomic design and finally 'Climate Control' functions of breathability, temperature regulation and moisture management.
The new kit will go on sale next Saturday (July) in all official club superstores and will have a suggested retail price of £39.99 for an adult shirt, £29.99 for a child shirt. Shorts £19.99 and socks £8.99 for adults, £14.99 for kids shorts, £6.99 for kids socks and a toddlers mini kit is £24.99.
