He was as frustrated as everyone connected with the Hammers after the 2-0 defeat at Southampton on Wednesday night robbed the Hammers of their first 'double' this season.
"After the good result at Chelsea on Saturday, we are very disappointed because it is always the same. When we manage to do something good we can't keep the level up three days later," he says.
"That is the problem with us, and we can't blame it on the free-kick that gave them the first goal - we should have been concentrated on the free-kick even if it wasn't justified.
"It didn't happen for us and the second the free-kick was well shot - and at 2-0 down we couldn't do it.
"It is often like this - we are not consistent enough, but we have to keep our chins up and win on Saturday.
"It will be all right. We are at home, we will be motivated, and we are going to win
"I think we don't play the same way away as we do at home and we have to start doing that, looking for goals."
Fredi is looking for the side to avenge the 7-1 defeat at Blackburn earlier in the season, and he adds: "We have to show all our supporters that we are better than that.
"We have to take our take our revenge and be creative - then it will be all right."
