West Ham United have two exciting new sales positions available in their Commercial and Hospitality departments.

They are:

WEST HAM UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB PLC
Title:   COMMERCIAL SALES EXECUTIVE
Responsible to:  COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Key Objectives:

  • Achieving sales targets for Ground Advertising Hoardings, Programme Advertising Sales and Matchday Promotions
  • Develop and implement commercial opportunities for Stadium Tours.
  • Liasing with Commercial Manager and Commercial Director to maximise revenue potentials through agreed upon strategies.

Duties:

  • To ensure that all targeted areas for sales opportunities are explored.
  • To be proactive in your sales approach, targeting markets in a systematic manner according to the marketing plan. 
  • To ensure that good inter-personnel communication skills are used at all levels.
  • To always be professional in appearance, attitude and aware of West Ham United official information.
  • To represent the Club in an efficient and professional manner so that potential customers view you as an ambassador.
  • To know product information regarding the standard operations of West Ham United Football Club - special attention to be paid to all other Commercial activities including packages available on a match day.
  • To communicate this knowledge in such a way that the customer feels totally satisfied with the booking and pays the deposit.
  • To input into the marketing plan and ensure that this is co-ordinated with the commercial team.
  • To follow through booking from initial enquiry to operational delivery.
  • To ensure that "promises" made at point of sale are honoured at Operational level

 

WEST HAM UNITED HOSPITALITY LIMITED
Title:   HOSPITALITY SALES EXECUTIVE
Responsible to:  COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

Key Objectives:

  • Achieving sales targets for Conferences, Banquets and Accommodation.
  • Maximise all potential sales opportunities for additional revenue streams.
  • Develop initiatives that maximise sales and marketing objectives in conjunction with both Commercial and Hospitality Departments.

Duties:

  • To ensure that all targeted areas for sales opportunities are explored.
  • To be proactive in your sales approach, targeting markets in a systematic manner according to the marketing plan.
  • To ensure that good inter-personnel communication skills are used at all levels.
  • To always be professional in appearance, attitude and aware of West Ham United official information.
  • To represent the Club in an efficient and professional manner so that potential customers view you as an ambassador.
  • To know product information regarding the standard operations of West Ham United Hospitality Limited - special attention to be paid to Conference & Banqueting and the Hotel and to know specific information regarding Conference & Banqueting rates, room capacities, layouts and specific standards.
  • To communicate this knowledge in such a way that the customer makes the booking and pays the deposit.
  • To input into the marketing plan and ensure that this is co-ordinated with the Operations Team.
  • To follow through booking from initial enquiry to operational delivery.
  • To ensure that "promises" made at point of sale are honoured at operational level.
  • Liase with the Hotel Manager, Conference & Banqueting and Catering Manager and Executive Head Chef to ensure that sold product surpasses customer expectations.
