He has returned in what is initially a loan deal, but is likely to become permanent in due course, and Glenn admits:
"It is very difficult to get every single transfer right and there is not a manager alive who gets them all spot on.
"It is obviously easier when you are spending larger sums of money though you can still make mistakes.
"Some work and some don't; Sebastien Schemmel has worked very well and cost us less than £500,000, and to get a player of Premiership standard for that is virtually impossible.
"We got Vladimir at a very reasonable price, less than £1m - which is a very small amount to pay - but unfortunately it didn't work out.
"Paul Aldridge worked extremely hard to make the deal happen and we are all going to get on with our lives; hopefully our fortunes will pick up and the fortunes of Vladimir Labant will pick up personally back in Prague.
"It is the club we brought him from and a club he knows well; he has still got a lot of friends there and we obviously wish him well.
"He was a smashing man to work with, I certainly enjoyed working with him, and it is just a shame it didn't quite work out the way I or he wanted it to.
"But I wouldn't have anyone say anything bad about him; he is a super human being, a family man, and I wish him all the very best.
"I think this is the best solution for all parties and I have only good things to say about Vladimir; he brought his family over and did everything right to try and settle in and make everything work the right way - but for lots and lots of different reasons it hasn't quite worked out.
"He is well respected back in Prague where they have welcomed him with open arms, and I am sure he will continue to have a terrific career with Sparta Prague."
